UNESA Strategic Plan (Renstra) 2025–2029
The Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) Strategic Plan (Renstra) 2025–2029 serves as the official and
comprehensive roadmap for the university's development, formally approved and
ratified by the Board of Trustees (Majelis Wali Amanat). This document is fundamentally
driven by two major changes: UNESA's recent elevation to the status of an
Excellent State University with Legal Entity (PTN-BH) and the shift in the
overseeing government body to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and
Technology. Consequently, the Renstra demands that UNESA strategically adapt to
global higher education trends, focusing on achieving World Class University
status, ensuring good university governance, and maximizing its new autonomy.
It formally asserts that the plan must be used as the benchmark for conducting all programs and activities throughout the 2025–2029 period, thereby ensuring institutional focus and alignment towards the achievement of the strategic vision.
